We are delighted to introduce you to our country hotel, situated between Burgos and La Rioja. Enjoy three-star facilities in a traditional, fully renovated mansion dating back over 100 years, located in the ‘Riojilla Burgalesa’ region.

Located right on the Camino de Santiago and amidst tourist attractions between Burgos and La Rioja, we offer 7 rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and fibre-optic Wi-Fi. The rooms are tastefully decorated with furniture from around the world, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The best of rural tourism combined with the comfort of a hotel.

All of them are outdoor spaces, each named after different plants found in the area around our village.

Featuring rustic décor, all rooms have their own en-suite bathroom. Each one has its own unique features. As you’ll see, the spaciousness of our rooms at Lavanda y Romero means we’ve named them family rooms, accommodating 2, 3 or 4 people – ideal for families with children. We’ll introduce you to each one so you can get to know them.
Breakfast at our country hotel
We want you to start your day on the right foot. A wholesome, homemade breakfast that ticks all the boxes of the renowned Mediterranean diet:

THE PILGRIM'S MENU
What better way to round off an exciting day than with a home-cooked ‘Pilgrim’s Menu’ prepared with great care. A starter, main course and dessert, allowing you to savour local produce cooked using our finest recipes. Bread and water are also included with the meal. These are some of the essential services offered by our rural hotel for pilgrims. Enquire about the possibility of dining during your stay at La Aldea Encantada and the options available for groups.

TOURISM
The prime location of La Aldea Encantada offers our guests the chance to enjoy an enviable tourist setting. Within a 30- to 40-minute radius, there are a number of must-see attractions: the Museum of Human Evolution, the Atapuerca archaeological site, the most iconic wineries of the D.O.Ca. Rioja, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and more. This is the privilege of travelling between Burgos and La Rioja.

Whether you’re a pilgrim cycling the Camino or a keen cyclist looking to explore one of the local routes, your bike will be safe here. We have a secure area where you can store your bike and keep it safe from any risk.
And you can easily charge your electric bikes outside so you’re ready to continue your journey the next day.
